I've Got the Summertime Blues

Admittedly, I have always loved blue. My great grandmother, Sally a.k.a. GG, was OBSESSED with blue. It is kind of funny, because I always laughed at how much she loved blue. Thinking back; however, my comforters and pillows were always blue. My bathroom knick knacks were always blue. My mom, too, loved blue. So, I guess it is fair to say, the apple has not fallen far from the tree.

I kid you not, I went to go look for a picture of my GG and sure enough, she is wearing BLUE! Oh, how I miss her!

Since the wedding, I have started to tackle projects with a vengeance. I don't know if it is because I have a lot of blue paint (I do) or the fact that I just think it is so darn pretty right now. Either way, I have turned out some projects.

Here we go:

I love redoing mirrors. I think it is because they tend to be very detailed, but more than that, one can never have too many mirrors. Am I right?

I sold this one really quickly. In the process of doing so, I was asked to do another mirror in the same style. So, I did.

I was having so much fun working with these colors, that I decided to do a small table in a similar style.

That's it for now regarding the blue. Though, I do believe I will be working with blue soon. *wink wink* Stay tuned! Also, I am working on my details blog from the wedding and a couple of takeaways that may help you in the future!
