Classic Black and White

You ever see an item and you just know that you have to do something with it? Okay, I get that way often, but seriously, I had to have this item. I spotted the tea cart in my sister in law's garage and it was begging for attention. I imagined the uses it once had, the conversations that occurred around it and the warmth that a piece like this can bring. I knew it needed a Mishaps and Messes revamping.

The cart was not in the best condition, but all of its bones were there. The only thing needed were a set of casters for the legs for it to become fully functioning. Initially, I was going to use a stand out color like a canary yellow, but the more I thought about it, the more I wanted it to look classic. My thought process was that it needed to look clean, a tad distressed and a lot French. So black and white it was. I became consumed with this project so much so that I was up until 3 am working on it. I literally could not stop working on it. I hope you like the final product!
